Project Description
Terps racing is the University of Maryland's Baja team that constructs a race car to compete against other schools in international SAE competitions. I was a part of the mechanical team and initially did a lot of work with the carbon fiber composite panels before becoming the Suspension Sub-Team Leader. While on the suspension team, I re-designed the rear trailing arms of the car to reduce the weight by 23.8% from the previous iteration.
